This senior role provides thought leadership, vision, and strategic direction to deliver a single enterprise approach to change management across the organisation.

Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Head of Change is responsible for ensuring the strategic agenda of projects and programmes are translated into a well-defined and executable change portfolio, driving delivery performance, capability improvement and maximising return on change investment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Manage the organisation wide view of material change activity, that informs and helps manage adverse impact on the business (including Single View of Change).
  • Manage the Change Framework that includes a structured methodology and tools for employee and business change.
  • Drive change resource optimisation to ensure cost/benefit effectiveness of change, communication and training personnel working in partnership with the HR.
  • Provide OCM thought leadership across the organisation through consultation and coaching
  • Provide OCM tools and educational material through appropriate development programmes and communication channels
  • Support the execution of change strategies via an internal change leadership community which includes business leaders, project facing change managers and employee-facing managers
  • Identify resistance to change and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions
  • Continuously introduce and reinforce OCM practices that drive ongoing and increased change maturity across the organisation
Experience:
  • Demonstrated (minimum 10 years) experience in a change management role (Essential)
  • Demonstrated (minimum 7 years) in a leadership capacity (Essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in working with organisational change management methodologies (Essential)
  • Experience implementing strategic change/organisational development initiatives (Essential)
  • Experience implementing large programmes of work
  • Exposure to project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle (Essential)
  • Experience of working in banking, financial services, large Enterprise organisations and/or professional services (Desirable)
