Our client a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team on a 6 month contract with potential for extension.
The role involves assisting the Business Analysis & Finance team in leading some of the key projects currently undertaken under the Sector Investment & Development division.
The main involvement of the resources will be in projects related to Property Management transfers and Future Support model for the providers ( High Costs Community Support Payments)
Some of the Key responsibilities include :
Working closely with Cross Agencies and The Organisations finance team to undertake Key activities related to finance reconciliation processes for property management transfer project
Develop Account reconciliation processes and key activities that can be used in the Property management transfers undertaken within the team.
Completing the actual reconciliation summary for the each providers in property transfer project and working with key stakeholders to review any issues and resolving them immediately
End to end responsible for undertaking the rates review for each provider at property level in collaboration with cross agencies and finalising for the purposes of final transfer.
Assist the Project Finance Lead in undertaking any critical financial analysis as required within the project
Any other analytical or reconciliation related work as direct by the Finance lead of the project
In order to be eligible for the role you will have :
Tertiary qualified and either working towards CPA or completed CPA
Strong numerical, verbal and communication skills
Self starter and ability to work with minimal
supervision
Ability to build good relationships
Ability to work and partner within AHO and also with cross agency stakeholders
Prior audit skills would be highly regarde
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadline
Strong initiative and interested in challenging work
System skills
Advanced excel required
SAP Knowledge (Preferable)
Trim (desirable)
