My client is a prominent international financial services group offering a broad range of products and services across their banking and wealth businesses.

As part of a dedicated project reporting team, you will support the Head of Finance, Business Performance Leads and Program Directors with the provision of monthly reporting, forecasting and planning for all major projects across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Produce accurate and timely project (financial and non-financial) information for project and finance stakeholders to facilitate strategic decision making.
  • Support the business unit finance teams during quarterly and annual planning periods, helping them understand the allocation of group costs and how the costs are allocated at a business level;
  • Provide detailed performance reports to senior management covering all projects across the business;
  • Analysis of financial results leading to identification of opportunities and risk and maximum benefit realisation;
  • Prepare half yearly and annual project information for inclusion in the results pack
  • Financial and business case modelling;
  • Extensive stakeholder management at a senior level (GM, CFO, Program Directors, CIO etc.);

This is a highly visible role which will be integral to the success of the team moving forwards. You will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified and have extensive management reporting, forecasting, budgeting experience coupled with outstanding business partnering experience;
  • A demonstrated background in management accounting and business partnering with a focus on costs/expenses.
  • Project Finance or PMO Finance would be viewed favourably
  • Experience ideally has been gained from either a Financial Services or large corporate/commercial environment;
  • Strong relationship management skills with a proven ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders is an absolute non-negotiable.
