FIELD MARKETING MANAGER-JAPAN 

We want someone who has solid field marketing event experiences, leads generation expert, especially from IT or fashion/Retail industry. Experience in Food or Cosmetic IT solution vendors will be a plus.
 
We have local content/design agencies and freelancers can support this role.
As marketing supports new business development and sales, everything we do must be in line with strategic and business objectives. The goal of field marketing is to build both brand awareness and help generate leads which include those for new product introductions or launches into new markets.
 
Responsibilities:
‪Event, communication planning and coordination in line with the sales and marketing plan for Japan.
  • Events and local media/association development and execution 70%
  • Understand requirements a particular event taking into consideration local cultures.
  • Develop promotion plan with qualified local media or 3rd party vendors/associations, including identify targets with external agencies and internal CRM, building list in marketing automation, creating emails according to the operational guidelines.
  • Events logistics: organize all logistical aspects including research and booking venues, catering, arranging goodies, satisfaction questionnaires, sales collaterals & pop up stands in the local languages. Manage local suppliers while respecting budgets and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with sales team, regional partners and 3rd party vendors.
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
  • Evaluate event’s success and prepare ROI reports.
  • Manage event leads and opps data in pardot and salesforce.
  • PR /Content/Communication 20%
  • Work with sales and content team to create customer PRs. Support on customer interviews.
  • Inbound campaigns: Build scenarios in the marketing automation tool to nurture leads.
  • Outbound: quarterly newsletters, communication campaigns, holiday cards, etc.
  • Work with internal and external content team to develop right content for the region and update social post in Japan.
  • Support APAC digital lead gen expert and global SEO expert and local content freelancers to build localized content for Japan website optimization to increase web traffic and digital inbound leads.
  • Database management 10%
  • Find local vendors to enrich and manage database in Japan.
  • Upload contacts from vendor or event into Pardot and salesforce.
  • Follow up uncontacted leads with regional sales team.
  • Work with sales and campaign/content team to nurture large accounts in Japan.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time.
Requirements:
  • ‪8+ years’ experience in B2B marketing
  • Strong event management and lead generation experience
  • ‪Business School degree or equivalent in Marketing
  • Proven experience as event coordinator
  • Photoshop and HTML notions are a plus
  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm
  • Autonomous & thorough
  • Understanding of responsibility and accountability
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and collaboration skills (ability to negotiate)
