  • Candidates must have relevant equity research / investment research experience

Responsibilities would include:
  • Cover small and medium cap companies listed on the Singapore exchange, including developing financial models for forecasting and undertaking financial statement analysis
  • Prepare equity research reports that are backed up by industry and company-specific data, as well as insights from industry experts and company management
  • Secondary role is to interpret economic and market trends and recommend trading and investment strategies to clients on a weekly basis
  • Conduct weekly presentation of trading and research ideas to internal sales and external clients
  • Keep abreast with market developments, e.g. new investment ideas, etc., that can affect markets across different asset classes

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Around 1-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • A team player, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
  • Able to interact/communicate with internal/external clients, with good presentation skills
  • Multi-tasker with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and Bloomberg
