As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for the development of brand new and existing applications used by internal and external customers that meet the need of business ambitions by leverage modern and emerging technologies. You will learn the existing application landscape and have ownership of technology modernization.


Responsibilities:

  • Own, shape and deliver architectural strategy
  • Lead and/or participate in creation of architectures
  • Leverage and adapt pubic cloud strategies
  • Responsible for the establishment of an IT architecture practice and the adoption of its standards and methodology
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to delivery technology solutions
  • Develop architectural diagrams, design documents and other technical artifacts
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide sound recommendations to the overall landscape with a strong focus on cloud endorsement


Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 year experience as a Solution Architect or related position
  • Experience with software development methodologies
  • Experience with enterprise application integration, cloud computing, microservices and DevOps
  • Design, integrate and manage design patterns
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with architectural frameworks (TOGAF) would be a plus
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-IT partners
  • Experience in the insurance domain would be an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal English communications
  • Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage
