The Role:
My Client is a global Asset Management Firm and we are looking for a Data Privacy Analyst to join the team in Singapore. This is a new headcount in Singapore due to their strong expansion plans across APAC, and we are looking for candidates to spearhead Privacy frameworks and policies within the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement new Privacy related policies and frameworks based on global laws and regulations
  • Provide advisory to the business stakeholders and ensure that the business is in line with Privacy rules and regulations
  • Perform impact assessments and advise stakeholders on any new data processing related guidelines and requirements
  • Effectively identify and resolve problems and issues related to user escalated privacy concerns;
  • Conduct Privacy related training within the business and create a robust Compliance and Privacy function
 
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Privacy function
  • Ideally within a Financial Institution
  • Experience in spearheading and drafting Privacy laws and polices
  • CIPP/A or another IAPP certification
  • Be able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
