Job Description:
- As a Business Intelligence Visualization Developer you will be responsible for building, implementing and supporting Microsoft PowerBI solutions onto Cloud technologies.
- Participate in all stages of BI project work from frontend visualization to backend databases
- Contribute towards developing the BI implementation methodologies across the wide range of Microsoft BI stacks and services
- Interact with BA’s and End Users to establish requirements
- Interact with Data Modelers and other developers to understand and communicate dimensional model enhancements based on group business needs
- Develop intuitive and simplistic information through creative visual methods
- Working within an AGILE environment with various technology stakeholders
- Design aesthetically pleasing visuals using data
- Advise clients on how to use data to solve complex issues
- Engage with Data engineers to include new data points
Requirements
- BSc Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience
- PowerBI on Cloud (Azure) technologies is required
- Strong background in creative visualization of data using PowerBI
- Modern Azure data warehouse design skills
- Expert database experience; SQL, DAX and Synapse
- Ability to use data storytelling to solve business problems
- Experience working on complex datasets
- DevOps and CI/CD experience
- QA and UAT experience
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities – English required, flexible on Cantonese/Mandarin
