Role Overview:
A dedicated First Line Support Specialist to join our Fund Services team, focusing on the cloud based blockchain FundsDLT platform. This position is crucial in delivering exceptional support across APAC, ensuring adherence to the highest business standards. Overseeing platform monitoring, support operational tasks, and engage in testing activities.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Application Support
  • Monitoring and Investigation: The role involves monitoring the FundsDLT platform and investigating issues, which are typical responsibilities of an application support specialist.
  • Customer Service and Support: Providing customer services and support aligns with application support functions, focusing on resolving user issues and ensuring smooth platform operation.
  • Testing Activities: Participation in testing activities to ensure the platform's functionality and reliability is a key aspect of application support.

Operational Support
  • Operational Activities: Supporting operational activities, managing exceptions, and day-to-day operations are core operational support tasks.
  • Platform Maintenance: Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the platform involves both application and operational support.
  • Reporting and Training: Preparing reports and conducting training sessions for staff are operational support functions aimed at maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree (Bachelor / Advanced degrees, eg. Masters +) in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
  • Relevant experience in Singapore / Hong Kong at financial services / banks / FinTech / Financial Market Infrastructure Providers; preferably from a cloud environment
  • Enthusiastic about technology with a work/academic foundation in latest  solutions and tools:
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure and Google Cloud.
    • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.
    • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
    • Proficiency with version control systems such as Gitlab.
    • Experience with system monitoring tools.
    • Knowledge of networking protocols and principles.
    • Competence in database management and SQL, Elasticsearch.
    • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and its core components.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Capable of managing complex processes: understanding, documenting, resolving, and improving.
  • Analytical and logical thinking with a good sense of judgment and curiosity.
  • Team player who can work independently on complex projects.
  • Will thrive working in an international and diverse team environment; Strong communication skills and independent working attitude
