Responsibilities would include: 

  • Support origination, credit execution and ongoing management of a portfolio of fund finance for private equity funds in Asia Pacific.
  • Track and monitor the Fund Finance portfolios across various metrics
  • Manage and prepare reports for the head of the business and senior management  
  • Analyze and perform due diligence on transactions that vary in complexity
  • Develop recommendations for the appropriate course of action and prepare credit submissions
  • Complete periodical customer reviews, amendment requests and review legal documentation
  • Prepare and compile various reports for senior management - including credit facility return metrics, relationship return metrics, risk limits, and annual budgeting and tracking
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of marketing materials, industry papers, business proposals, and ad-hoc updates on an ongoing basis
  • Assist with client relationship management by efficiently addressing client requirements and contributing to cross sell activities (i.e. running Client Profitability Models)
  • Assist with client planning and development, including meeting preparation, follow-up, and tracking
  • Establish and maintain an effective network of internal and external contacts across private equity funds
 

Profile of Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in fund finance/private equity funds, good working knowledge of Sponsor / NAV / NAV based lending / Subscription / private equity financing / fund financing for PE funds
  • Knowledge of credit and legal documentation frameworks
  • Good credit, structuring, and financial analysis skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver under time pressure
  • Team player, good interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Previous banking or private equity experience preferred
