We are looking for an Asset Valuation & Analytics Associate/AVP to join a global investment management firm. This role supports the public markets investments team.

The client is a global investment management firm with offices in more than 10 countries and an investment presence in more than 30 countries across various asset classes and businesses.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the fair valuation of public market investments.
  • Undertake data operations and management on a daily basis across prices, rates & analytics, including investigation and resolution of issues.
  • Be the point of contact for any operational data queries from the wider stakeholders.
  • Ensure valuation practices are aligned and adhered to Fair Valuation Policy.
  • Any other adhoc duties


Successful candidate’s background:

  • Degree in Accounting/Mathematics/Economics/Financial Engineering/Statistics or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Valuation Control, also open to more experienced candidates for the AVP level.
  • Open to candidates from Pricing background or Data Operations/Reference Data/Investment Data background who are eager to pursue asset valuation job scope.
  • Experience in Excel VBA/SQL/Python is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
