Our Client is an international MNC seeking to make its ASEAN Legal Director hire here in Singapore. The ideal candidate would be someone who possesses strong negotiation experience and knowledge across different commercial scenarios and with a good number of years working in MNCs. This is an exciting opportunity for career development and growth. The role leads and partners with key stakeholders across multiple business lines in the organisation.

You must:
  • 10+ years of commercial legal or private practice experience. Relevant in-house experience in MNC or a large law firm will also be considered.
  • Licensed to practice law in one of ASEAN countries and/or the US, UK or other common law jurisdiction.
  • Lead commercial contract drafting and negotiations including supply agreement, distribution agreements, supplier agreements, project agreements, etc.
  • Review and analyze advertising, marketing campaigns, packaging, promotion, commercial tie-in and direct marketing issues
  • Drive contract management and periodic audits in ASEAN countries
  •  Provide legal advice on corporate governance, employment matters, IP and case management of issues across ASEAN businesses
