Role Overview:
As an Analyst, Cyber Defense, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our global environment against cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include triaging incidents, conducting investigations, and proactively hunting for threats. Additionally, you will be involved in modifying and creating threat detection rules using our SIEM platform, as well as providing timely updates to stakeholders. Keeping abreast of the evolving threat landscape and industry best practices will be essential to your success in this role.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in Cybersecurity, especially in cyber defense / incident response / threat intelligence.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information from various sources to support investigations.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with malware or forensic analysis is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in scripting, particularly Python.

Additional Notes
  • Open to fresh graduates with a solid understanding of computer science and cyber security principles.
  • Also open to professionals cyber defense and incident response with at least 2 years of experience.
  • A positive attitude and a good grasp of Python scripting for automation purposes are highly valued.
