The Role & the Organisation:

You will join a globally recognised and awarded Financial Markets trading technology company. Based in their Melbourne CBD office, you will become part of the APAC Finance team providing support in the day-to-day operations.
 
This is a great opportunity to work alongside the CFO and expand your skills / knowledge in a role with APAC exposure.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial and regulatory reporting, as well as monthly management reports.
  • Client funds reconciliation and monthly regulatory submission to ASIC.
  • Monthly NTA calculation.
  • Monthly Banks, Credit Cards & PSP reconciliations.
  • Intercompany / vendors / clients’ reconciliations (including preparation of provisions).
  • Monthly and quarterly tax lodgement (GST, Payroll Tax & BAS).
  • Assist with annual external audits
  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the Finance function.
  • Work with the CFO to implement the strategy and direction for the APAC Finance team.
  • Assist with business budgets and plans.

Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting roles.
  • Experience working in Financial Services or FinTech is a plus,
  • Driven by results, details and compliance. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box.
  • CPA / CA qualification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to collaborate with other global finance teams occasionally
