A Sydney based Council is seeking a Recrords Digitisation Officer to support their Corporate Services team on a contract through to 31 August. This role is responsible for the ongoing digitisation of hard copy records and supporting day-to-day records management activities in line with legislative and organisational requirements.  This is a great opportunity for someone with records, document control, or high-volume scanning experience looking for a stable council contract in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and scan hard copy files into electronic format
  • Monitor image quality and ensure accurate digitisation
  • Update file locations and metadata in the records system
  • Assist with records management activities and file movements
  • Support internal and external digitisation projects
  • Respond to basic records enquiries in line with service standards
  • Maintain accurate tracking and statistics for digitised files
About you
  • Experience in records or information management environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repetitive processes accurately
  • Comfortable using computers and scanning or document management systems
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
