The purpose for the IT Manager, Sector Role is: 
  •  To be the link between IT and the Sector business & customer community- To foster and build positive, successful relationships with key Sector & regional members with the goal of increasing the positive perception of IT
  •  To be accountable for all aspects of the delivery of the IT programme of work for Sector
  •  To support the business sectors in delivering their IT requirements, by incorporating these into the IT strategy and effective IT solution design
  •  To support the business sectors in achieving their targets by delivery cost effective, high quality solutions in line with country, regional and global governance
  •  To manage, lead and motivate a group of IT professionals in their professional development in line with strengthening IT's succession plan, and furthering the quality of the IT service IT delivers
  •  Ownership and management of the local Sector product set, including vendor management- Manage the implementation of new Sector IT Products, either local, regional or global, into the Sector operation
     
Responsibilities

Sector & customer senior IT point of contact for issue escalation, IT financial queries, programme and strategic planning- as well as proactive communication of known highpriority issues or changes that could affect the respective sector operations. Regular communication and meetings with Sector Head & Ops GM community.
  • Working with allinputs - Sector and sector requirements, regional & global IT strategies, and wider strategies - to influence and drive the country IT strategy. Key to this is being able tocommunicate to the respective sectors how the IT strategy is supporting their operations and BU growth.
  • Own and manage country specific (local) Sector IT Products. This includes supporting Country IT Manager with Sector Product elements of strategic ITplanning, link Sector Business mission, strategy, and processes to Sector IT Product strategy, development of product roadmaps, development and maintenance the ITProduct Catalogue, development and maintain product cost models, and management of external/internal product vendors, and ensuring Sector IT Product incidents areresolved within SLA.
  • Programme management for Sector IT, in conjunction with other customer solution managers to establish clear priorities and a clearly communicated delivery schedule forprojects & change.
  • IT solution design review, influence, modification, innovation and approval for the respective sectors. This includes working with the delivery team leads to ensure sectorprojects & change are running on time, within budget, and to the quality levels required. Also includes working with partner carriers to ensure solutions remain standardisedwherever possible.
  • To provide line management to direct reports as well as undertaking a leadership role across the wider IT solutions delivery team - and within this task ensuring thatemployees are motivated, developing and strengthening our succession plan for future.
     
Requirements 
  • A solid understanding of the role that Sector plays in an end to end supply chain
  • 6+ Years in Information Technology
  • 2+ Years Programme Management Experience
  • 2+ Years Integrated IT Solution Implementation Experience
  • 2+ Years Supply Chain Experience
  • 2+ Years Managing and Developing Employee's
  • Solid knowledge of Sector characteristics across Japan
  •  Japanese: Advanced (written and spoken)
  •  English: Fluent (written and spoken)
