The Role:
Our client is an International Law Firm and is seeking to hire a Counsel/ Senior Associate to join the Singapore Office. As a Counsel or Senior Associate, you'll play a crucial role in assisting clients with the development of new products and services, navigating regulatory changes, and overseeing significant transactional projects. With the evolving Singapore regulatory landscape and the emergence of innovative Fintech solutions, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the industry's future in the legal industry. Open to Financial Services lawyers inhouse looking to return to practice.

Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience from a reputable law firm, financial institution, or industry participant.
  • Proven track record in financial services regulatory and/or commercial/transactional work.
  • Familiarity with Singapore financial regulations, including the Payment Services Act, Securities and Futures Act, and related MAS regulations
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge and interest in crypto, NFT, Web3, metaverse, etc.
  • Understanding of tokenomics and crypto business models.
  • Experience in cryptoasset regulation (e.g., token opinions, business structuring, offshoring).
