This role sits within the regional delivery function which focuses on leveraging new and existing applications. As a manager you will oversee the adoption, integration, development, and delivery of these.

You’ll work with an established team and report into the group head to execute strategic plans and objectives.


Job Specs:

  • Lead the delivery of application integration and regional distribution from the group IT function
  • Manage various internal and external stakeholders (product owners, platform owners, application owners, project leads, developers, etc.)
  • Define and execute operating policies and drive the adoption of new and existing applications
  • Lead a team of developers to build integration components
  • Leverage agile practices into development roadmaps

 
Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience within the IT industry
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a delivery capacity or technical project management
  • Hands-on experience in delivering within an agile model
  • Solid insurance knowledge
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of technologies and practices within cloud, devops, microservice architecture and mobile/web development
  • Experience in deployment of code and APIs
  • Experience on various NoSQL databases
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS based platforms
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Good command of English or Mandarin/Cantonese as you will liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and upskill junior resources
