Position Overview:
Lead Information and Operational Technology functions for an established Singapore-based telecommunications company, overseeing IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and BSS/OSS domains.
Key Responsibilities:
As IT Director, you will be leading Information and Operational Technology functions, including IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and BSS/OSS domains.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company strategic priorities.
- Oversee IT operations, ensuring continuous support for all business applications.
- Enhance IT policies and procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
- Develop and operationalize IT Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Plans
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect against potential threats.
- Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Senior Management, Board of Directors, authorities, and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Lead people development and IT talent management.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with technological trends and recommend solutions to enhance company efficiency.
- Implement systems to facilitate efficient remote work environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and related degrees
- 10+ years of experience with IT leadership and people management experience
- Relevant experience in IT and Telco fields with expertise in Telco GIS and OSS/BSS operations
- Familiarity with ITIL or eTOM standards and frameworks
- Strong background in cybersecurity standards and implementations
- Proven track-record in delivering complex IT projects.
- Familiar with IT vendor management and RFP/RFI processes
- Singaporean citizens and PRs will be prioritised.
