Embark on a transformative journey with our client, a distinguished global bank. We are recruiting a Head of Infrastructure (End User) and become part of a collaborative team where diversity, innovation, and excellence seamlessly intersect. 

 
Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for overall planning, progress, and operational escalation of End User Service Technology.
  • Propel the End User Service Technology and service roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank's requirements and establishing relevant policies, governance, security standards, and architecture specifications. Oversee the Run team in managing technology maintenance, refresh, and upkeep.
  • Analyse end user service conditions and existing problems, recommending alternative technologies and integration plans to enhance service quality, performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.
  • Engage with internal business stakeholders to comprehend end-user service requirements, design and implement new solutions or enhancements to the User Experience.
  • Manage solutions partners, vendors, and service providers to achieve a high level of quality solution/service performance, meeting established SLA/OLAs/Quality standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT End User Services or external Technology customer support role.
  • Track record of working in Technology departments within a Financial Institution/banking environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Offices / O365, Video/voice conferencing, IP Phones, MDM / Intune, RAS, VDI Horizon, print services, application packaging, Windows GPOs, Infrastructure, and End point security, DevSecOps.
  • Ideally possess industrial certification or be a practitioner of ITIL, SDLC, PMP/Prince2, Lean/Six Sigma, etc., with Technology Security or Risk Certifications preferred.
  • Possess knowledge in wider infrastructure domains (e.g., Windows, AD, SCCM, HCI, network, etc.), which would be an advantage.
  • Exhibit strong knowledge and experience in IT security, Risk Management, and Security Controls.
  • Showcase excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate creativity, ingenuity, and a willingness/ability to try new things.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to work well in a challenging technical environment, multitask while delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Exhibit strong cross-cultural leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
