  • Covering both shipping / aviation transactions 

Responsibilities:
  • Support deal team leads in end-to-end origination to execution including due diligence, financial modelling, preparation and presentation of information memoranda, business credit applications, supporting documentation and execution of transactions to reach financial close and funding
  • Transactions include advisory and industry analytics where work scope would extend to industry research, analysis of company financials, preparation of pitchbooks & coordinating investor feedback, managing third party consultants, etc.
  • Perform in-depth credit, financial and cash flow analysis using various methodologies relevant for the shipping and aviation industry
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyse the impact of different capital structures, including both debt and operating lease solutions
  • Support the team in maximizing customer profitability by providing innovative and value-added ship financing while at the same time reducing the risk to the bank
  • Assist in the generation of ideas to addressing internal or client challenges

Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline 
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a relevant role, credit and financial analysis / modelling skillsets are mandatory 
  • Industry of the shipping or aviation industry is advantageous but not mandatory 
  • Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal/communication and organisational skills
  • Solid financial evaluation and modelling skills
  • Ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
  • Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
  • Ability to multitask and deliver under time pressure in a highly competitive and dynamic deal driven environment
  • A pro-active and flexible team member with a “can do” mentality
  • Proficiency in any Asian languages like Mandarin, Hindi, or Bahasa, etc. preferred but not mandatory for internal & external communications and engagement
