A reputable global bank is seeking a senior trade finance specialist to drive the growth of its Trade & Working Capital Solutions business across Asia. This individual contributor role focuses on origination, structuring, and execution of trade finance transactions, while working closely with regional and global teams to enhance client engagement and support business expansion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and originate trade finance opportunities across diversified industries, covering receivables, payables, and conventional trade finance flows.
  • Apply deep product and market knowledge to analyze full trade flows and structure tailored financing solutions.
  • Act as a primary deal driver—leading transaction discussions, coordinating with credit teams, and ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Maintain high credit quality standards through close collaboration with risk and credit stakeholders.
  • Partner with global trade finance offices to support cross-border clients and ensure consistency in solutions and delivery.
  • Conduct internal training and share product expertise to help front-office teams better identify and pursue trade finance opportunities.
  • Enhance integration of structured and conventional trade finance offerings to strengthen deposit, cash, and FX flows.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in trade finance within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of both structured and traditional trade finance products.
  • Proven origination capability with the ability to independently source, structure, and close deals.
  • Strong credit, risk assessment, and transaction execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities across markets and functions.
  • Experience supporting internal enablement or product training is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous for internal & external communications and engagement
