A global financial services group is building a new institutional trading desk in Singapore and is seeking a seasoned Multi-Asset Trader to lead the build-out of a new book from day one. This is a high-impact role for an experienced trader with strong product breadth, disciplined risk management, and a track record of generating and executing scalable strategies.

You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the desk’s risk framework, infrastructure, trading playbook and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage an institutional trading book across equities, indices, ETFs, futures, swaps, and synthetics.
- Develop and refine trading strategies spanning baskets, futures, swaps, synthetics, and forward structures.
- Identify alpha opportunities, validate signals, and execute trades with discipline across multiple asset classes.
- Execute with discipline while managing intraday risk, hedging, and P&L attribution.
- Drive execution efficiency, including automation and workflow optimisation.
- Work with counterparties, brokers and internal teams to enhance pricing, connectivity and trading infrastructure.
- Contribute to the development of tools, controls, and processes to support scalable desk growth.

Ideal Profile
- 10 - 15 years’ experience in FX, ETF/index trading, or multi-asset execution.
- Strong understanding of pricing, hedging, order-book dynamics, and risk frameworks.
- Track record of generating/implementing scalable trading strategies.
- Comfortable with automation, market data, and collaborating with technical teams.
