Responsibilities:

  • Daily execution of clients’ transactions, ensuring transactions are financed within approved credit facilities supported by the appropriate collateral, closely follow-up and monitor transaction risk / collateral throughout the life cycle of the deal
  • Main contact point for customers and liaise closely with Trade / Lending operations and other support departments
  • Perform independent transactional risk analysis with reference to approved credit facilities, customer trade profile as well as the general product guidelines and procedures.
  • Explore mitigating measures and work together with Front Office closely to provide financing solutions to customers, trade flows, facility utilization patterns during credit review
  • Collateral monitoring such as MTM, vessel movement checks and stages of collaterals (presold, unsold and etc)
  • Monitor and manage supporting collaterals including assessment of the collateral quality; perform the appropriate collateral valuation throughout the life cycle of the transaction
  • Handle clients’ daily cash flow transactions including deposits, trade facilities maintained with bank, remittances and attend to enquiries from clients.
 
 
Qualifications/ Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in commodity trade finance middle office in other banks or commodity firms
  • Trade finance experience is mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good stakeholder management
  • Team player, family culture
  • Positive attitude in dealing with challenging and difficult situations
  • Resourceful & willingness to work with clients / stakeholders for solutions.
