The Position:
Due to a restructure the requirement for a Snr Audit Manager has become available. You will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit and will hold a hands-on internal audit position, whilst leading & coaching a fully co-sourced audit function with several auditors.  This is a reputable Government Agency with an excellent reputation.

The Person:
It is essential that the ideal candidate would have gained experience in internal audit in either the Commercial, Government or Professional Services sectors. Your will lead an operational risk based audit plan, with experience in Health in Safety audits in the past advantageous but not essential.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Scope and planning of audits.
  • Oversee Auditors executing on the detailed audit plan.
  • Assist in the preparation and assess the QA of the audit reports.
  • Reporting on audit matters to senior management.
  • Lead and supervise a team of auditors.
  • Assist in special project activity.
Your background:
  • Degree qualified with either a CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA or CISA.
  • Experience in Health and Safety Audits will be a great advantage but not essential.
  • Currently in Big 4 / Industry or Government with at least 5 years audit experience.
  • 6+ Years’ experience gained in the commercial / industry sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will require Australian PR.
The ideal candidate will display strong time management and influencing skills. You will have a proven track record in writing Internal Audit reports and be able to articulate and identify key risks.
