Our client is a rapidly growing consulting firm offering an exceptional and unique workplace culture and employee experience. Due to their rapid growth they have a newly created opportunity in their finance team for an experienced senior accountant to join in a broad, hands on role covering both financial and management accounting.

Reporting into an excellent and very supportive Head of Finance and partnering with a range of senior partners and stakeholders you will focus on:
  • Completing regular financial and statutory reporting as required
  • Enhancing financial controls such as balance sheet reconciliation
  • Managing the ERP system by ensuring inputs are accurate, reviewing results, rehearsing changes in the test environment and liaising with external service providers
  • Annual budgeting
  • Financial forecasts, cash flow, working capital management
  • Statutory financial statements and annual external audit
  • Performance reporting, including engaging with key business stakeholders
  • Training and education to employees to ensure compliance with finance policies, processes and correct use of finance platforms.

Require skills and experience:
  • CA/CPA qualified with minimum 5 years experience
  • Strong financial accounting experience with an excellent grasp of accounting standards
  • Strong financial systems and excel skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in professional services firm would be advantageous
  • Hands on experience in small to medium sized finance team also beneficial
