Our Client is a Temasek-backed wildlife group, seeking an experienced Data Protection Officer to advise on the Group’s compliance to prevailing data protection laws, regulations, and policies. Reporting to the VP Legal, you will also track changes to relevant data protection laws, regulations and policies, and develop and maintain applicable policies and procedures for the Group, ensuring full compliance with prevailing regulations.
With exciting expansion plans in place, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
You will:
- Hold a strong Degree in any discipline, with 5-8 years of prior experience as a Data Protection Officer or in a related risk management/compliance function
- Possess strong working knowledge of data protection laws and experience implementing a data protection management program.
- Possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
