This position sits within our client’s engineering team with collaboration and focus across various back-office teams. You will be creating and supporting platforms that directly impact their millions of users daily.

As a Systems Engineer you will be part of the online and mobile project team to develop, design and enhance their flagship product.


Job Description
  • Perform requirement analysis, process and system design, development, implementation and testing
  • Responsible for the full software development lifecycle to support business needs and IT operations
  • Gather and transform client’s business system needs
  • Prepare technical specifications; UI, Functional, Architectural documents and data specifications


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • 2+ year experience in information systems design and software development
  • Hands-on experience using Java, Spring MVC, Springboot, REST WS and JPA
  • Knowledge or experience in cloud platform development, data management tools or messaging protocols
  • Cloud experience is an advantage; Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Container tools are an advantage; Docker, Podman
  • Data management tools are an advantage; Oracle, mySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Good communicator in both verbal and written English and Cantonese
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Systems Engineer
