As the Senior Vice President of Cyber Security - Endpoint, you will lead and oversee all aspects of the organization's cybersecurity strategy and operations related to endpoint security. Your primary focus will be on protecting the company's endpoints, including workstations, laptops, servers, mobile devices, and other connected devices, from cyber threats and attacks.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of endpoint systems and data, while also driving continuous improvement in the organization's endpoint security posture.


Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Security Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive endpoint security strategy aligned with the overall cybersecurity and business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the endpoint security team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other cybersecurity leaders and executive management to integrate endpoint security measures into the broader cybersecurity framework.

Endpoint Security Architecture and Solutions:

  • Define and implement robust endpoint security architectures, frameworks, and solutions to protect the organization's endpoints from a wide range of threats.
  • Evaluate and select endpoint security technologies, tools, and products that align with the organization's requirements and industry best practices.

Endpoint Threat Detection and Response:

  • Establish and manage advanced threat detection and response capabilities for endpoints, including the use of behavioral analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven security solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts related to endpoint security incidents, minimizing the impact and facilitating rapid recovery.

Endpoint Security Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of endpoint security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and reporting on endpoint security events and incidents.
  • Ensure the timely investigation and resolution of endpoint security issues and vulnerabilities.

Endpoint Security Governance and Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain endpoint security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security requirements.
  • Monitor and assess endpoint security compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Vendor Management and Partnerships:

  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate, select, and implement endpoint security products and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry peers and security communities to stay informed about emerging threats and best practices.

Security Awareness and Training:

  • Promote and support cybersecurity awareness programs focused on educating employees about endpoint security best practices and potential risks.
  • Provide training to staff on endpoint security topics to create a security-aware workforce.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

  • Prepare and manage the endpoint security budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-effectiveness.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on endpoint security.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale endpoint security programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, EDR, XDR. application control, DLP, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive management.
