Reporting Line: Chemistry Group Head
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement R&D plans for nucleic acid drugs
- Handle high-throughput synthesis of antisense, nucleic acid synthesis, conjugate construction work
- Lead research collaboration projects (e.g. academic institutions, pharma companies, etc.)
- Oversee raw materials supply related to the research projects
Requirements:
- Master or higher degree in organic chemistry, Organic Chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent science
- Experience in leading research team and working with external R&D parties
- Talents with 3+ years relevant experience in medicinal chemistry or nucleic acid chemistry research in pharma / biotech settings highly preferred
- Proficient in research report writing and preparation of documents / presentations materials
- Good command in both Japanese and English languages
