The Brief:

The Role:

Our Client is a world leading shipping MNC serving a good global client base. You will be part of the legal team based in Singapore. This team provides legal support on a wide variety of regional contracts (transshipment, shipbuilding contracts) and shipping related litigation.

Requirements:
  • Top academic credentials (Singapore Bar Qualification, England & Wales) with at least 7-12 years of post qualification experience at a “top tier” law firm and multinational environment 
  • Sound Shipping Knowledge with experience predominantly gained InHouse in dry bulk marine transportation or in the claims department of a P&I Club
  • Team player with superior communication, interpersonal and language skills
  • Experience handling cargo claims, collisions and other wet marine issues
  • Detail oriented, motivated individual with excellent analytical and project management skills
