Ethos Beathchapman in partnership with one of our key clients is currently seeking to engage a Senior Project Manager with experience working on large data migrations or customer mastering programs.  The positions offers an initial 12 month engagement starting in September/October.

The focus of the program is to uplift information and application capabilities across several systems for better customer engagement. The mission is to drive their 'data done right' philosophy, as this specialist unit seeks to guide multi-million dollar programs of work through the correct life-cycle through effective application of gap analysis and data integration.

Your key focus will involve managing transitioning  business critical applications and migrations from legacy systems to the new platform. 
The opportunity will enable you to demonstrate your delivery skills in a supportive team structure, that provides an abundance of exposure to the increasingly important customer domain.
 
Essential:
  • Minimum 7 years of demonstrable experience in the successful definition, mobilisation and delivery of complex projects that impact multiple business areas.
  • Experience in managing project budgets of $5 million as a minimum
  • Experience engaging with and managing senior stakeholders
  • Technically comfortable dealing with the details
  • Experience managing multiple items simultaneously
  • Trusted knowledge of current leading technologies.
  • Experience in end-to-end project delivery - business case development through to execution and implementation
  • Management of a direct team of 7 project professionals and a virtual team of 10 people

Desirable:
  • Waterfall and Agile delivery experience
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMI, CSM)
  • Good experience across transitioning from one business critical application to another, data migration and re-directing applications interfaces from one business critical application to another
