The Role:

Our client, one of the world’s leading financial services firms, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join the team.
 
You will be part of a collegial and well-regarded legal team, focused on SEA regional matters, providing comprehensive legal support and business advisory. Key responsibilities include advising on insurance product development, reinsurance contracts, claims, and regulatory issues, as well as conducting legal reviews of transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements, and managing external counsel when needed.
 
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of insurance business and operations to provide commercial sound advice on insurance contracts and claims in the region  
  • Degree in Law with at least 10-15 PQE, with working experience in a MNC financial services insurance/reinsurance environment.
  • Excellent people management skills. Team player to work well in an agile and collaborative environment
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills
