The Role:
Our client is one of the top-tier international law firms in Hong Kong. They are now seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager or Finance Manager to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the go-to expert for the firm's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as tax compliance (income tax, payroll tax, indirect tax)
  • Manage and optimize the firm's working capital, including cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Ensure the accounting practices and procedures adhere to the regulations set by the Law Society
  • Oversee the fulfillment of all statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support and contribute to any ad-hoc projects or special analyses as needed
  • Offer backup and assistance to the finance team in the Shanghai office as required

Requirements:
  • 8+ years (Senior Finance Manager) or 5-8 years (Finance Manager) of relevant finance experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with strong technical accounting and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken as you will liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.
