Our client is a reputable commodity trading firm based in Singapore, and are looking for an individual with 3-4 years of accounting experience in a Commodity trading firm or shipping industry. This opportunity will be reporting into the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will be meticulous in their work, have strong communication skills and work well in a fast paced environment. A candidate with strong Mandarin skills is preferred for this role for internal & external communications and engagement.
 

Some responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closings and year end audit
  • Work closely with internal/external stakeholders for all finance related matters
  • Be involved in the monthly P&L, weekly forecast, vessel revenue and other calculations related
  • Responsible for group consolidation, corporate tax matters
  • Responsible for preparation of financial statements, management reports, MTM responsibilities including GST etc.
