My Client is a leading Technology Firm and E-Commerce firm and we are looking for a Group Privacy Officer to join the team in Singapore. We are looking for a seasoned Privacy leader who is keen to grow their career in a leading brand name in the industry. You will also be leading a team and will oversee Privacy related matters in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain oversight of all Privacy polices at a group level
- Oversee and enhance all data protection related programs within the business
- Oversee and manage all data compliance related risks and manage the privacy impact assessment policies
- Mitigate Privacy risk at a group level, and provide advisory to the business whenever necessary
- Manage all data protection related incident management
- Negotiate and review any data privacy related clauses and contracts
You must:
- A bachelors degree in a reputable university – Ideally with a law degree
- At least 8 years of experience in Privacy related matters
- CIPM / CIPP will be an advantage
- Strong communication skills to deal with senior stakeholders
- Be able to work independently, while also being a strong team player
