An exciting mandate has come out regarding a newly created leadership position within the manufacturing industry. The finance controller would be an integral addition to the business in ramping up current finance processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring robust financial controls across the organization.
 
You will lead a team responsible for managing end-to-end finance processes, including the preparation and consolidation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This involves overseeing all accounting operations such as general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, budget forecast, and management reporting. Additionally, you will handle project-based accounting by assessing profitability for each contract or project; maintain robust internal controls and partner closely with senior management to enable strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
 
The ideal candidate will hold a CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 12 years of relevant experience. Industry-specific experience from engineering, construction or project-related sectors will be highly valued, with proven leadership experience.
