The company has been in the industry for over 30 years and is a market leader. With its primary business activities being in Australia, their plan for 2023 is to expand into Singapore and the United States. Hence they are looking to hire their first sales person in Singapore. Being the first hire in Singapore, you will be reporting to the Vice President of Sales where you will be selling company’s software solutions and services to new enterprise clients in Singapore. Enterprise clients are mainly within the oil & gas, mining, healthcare, and government sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, canvass and sell into clients within the designated sectors of responsibility maintain a detailed prospects and progress list
  • Assist in preparing responses to RFI's and RFP's and customer presentation
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of their software products
  • Maintain a level of knowledge of competing products commensurate with the position.
  • Manage, prioritise and escalate client-suggested modifications to the development team to specify new products and services as required and suggested by clients, thereby optimising product usability.
  • Ensure that all appropriate contracts are executed, filed and maintained in accordance with company’s contract management guidelines.
  • Ensure that clients are invoiced in a timely fashion and that invoices are supported by appropriate contracts and agreements.
  • Assist the accounts department to recover outstanding invoices to ensure adherence to company’s credit policies.
  • Liaise with other company personnel, as appropriate, to increase  knowledge of their products, services and processes
  • Attending tradeshows, conferences or other marketing related events
 
Key Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in selling software solutions
  • Experience in hunting new accounts and acquiring of new logos with successful track records
  • Enterprise sales experience is a plus
  • Industry knowledge in oil & gas, mining, healthcare, government would be good to have
  • High motivated
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Proven time management skills, with ability to self-manage and prioritise workloads
  • Ability to set and execute both long and short term goals both individually and in a team
  • Possess a consistent professional attitude when attending any client or event representing the company
