The role of Data Analytics Consultant involves spearheading initiatives that will enable our client to extract business value from trusted data and skilled analytics. This position requires a hands-on approach to bridging central expertise with the specific needs of different business units, to improve data consumption, knowledge management, and analytical capabilities.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide consulting services for analytics and information architecture evaluations, education and capacity building activities across the global enterprise.
  • Coach users on strategic tools and best practices to assess and analyse data, and provide training and support focused on metrics definitions, data resources, data access approaches, value cases, and potential stakeholders.
  • Improve strategic analytics and data catalog platforms, address root causes of information quality issues, and enable business teams to self-serve in ways that benefit the company.
  • Promote analytics usage and skills among management and employees, and encourage visibility and reusability of data.
  • Mentor and coach analysts to advance the business' analytics capabilities.
  • Handle complex issues independently with minimal supervision, and escalate only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in applying data, process, and technology to solve business problems.
  • 3 + years’ experience
  • Experience working in a globally-distributed, matrixed organization.
  • Diverse professional experiences across multiple lines of business and industries.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing change through data-driven storytelling.
  • Experience in developing scalable self-service analytics patterns and communities of practice.
  • Certifications in programming languages and/or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience creating solutions on cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and business process leaders.
