The Role
My client is a a leading Insurance Firm and we are looking for a Compliance Manager in SG. This is a new headcount due to their growth plans in Asia, and we are looking for a Compliance professional who is keen to be part of this global business in Singapore.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Subject matter expert for all Compliance policies and framework within the business
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, external vendors whenever required
  • Implement and enhance the AML / CFT / Sanctions and Anti Bribery related processes
  • Draft and mitigate any Compliance policies and gaps within the firm.
  • Assess the impact of the Risk profile, and mitigate any gaps within the business
  • Monitor any changes in regulatory developments and ensure the AML policies are in line with laws and regulations
  • Carry out investigation work should there be any alerts, red flags etc
 
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in Compliance – ideally with experience across Regulatory and AML work
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in an Insurance Firm or Insurance Broker
  • Ability to work independently and with regional stakeholders.
  • Hungry, eager, and looking for a hands-on environment
