Responsibilities would include:
  • Support the Global Head in developing strategic plans to support Group Corporate Affairs Marketing strategy and Corporate / Commercial wholesale banking business strategy.
  • Help set agendas for meetings with direct reports and other key stakeholders, covering key updates and follow up actions
  • Assist in structuring and supporting key projects and deliverables across the team
  • Optimize time management for the Global Head, identifying key relationships to develop.
  • Work with the team in the development and execution of communications plan to help ensure effective communication of key priorities and messages across marketing and the wider bank.
  • Support the Global Head in building and maintaining close working relationships with management team, corporate / commercial banking teams, Investor Relations, core business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with management team and other key stakeholders to anticipate any risks and issues inside / outside of the functions that the team should be aware of. Seek to identify possible solutions.
  • Reviewing and analyzing the budget for the various teams, working with budget owners across the team to ensure actions such as forecasting, and restatements are completed on time.
  • Looking across portfolio, proactively identify efficiencies and opportunities, review potential overspend to ensure costs stay within budgets.
  • Proactively review planned investment spend in alignment with other areas to identify potential efficiencies, duplication of efforts or potential gaps.
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 8-10 years of work experience , in Marketing/ Digital Marketing, Comms Strategy, Strategy, consulting / innovation background, integrated marketing and communications background.
  • Experience in Marketing Strategy, Planning and Campaign execution, Internal/ External Consulting, Risk Management, Knowledge of Planning or Innovation.
  • Be able to think fast and work quickly under pressure.
  • Be courageous and willing to provide constructive dissent to senior leadership
  • Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills, good judgement
  • Strong stakeholder management; work well across various teams in the bank
  • Ability to articulate concepts and complex ideas in clear and impactful manner
  • Intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness
  • Strong work ethics and excellent attitude
