The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This role provides legal and compliance advisory support across ASEAN. You will be part of a collegial team working on O&G projects. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (power purchase utilities, EPC, advising on natural gas/LNG contracts, project financing, upstream M&A.

Requirements:
  • Law degree with 10 -12 years PQE, admitted to practice in Singapore or the UK and has experience in the energy industry, especially in O&G projects.
  • Experience in negotiating O&G/LNG supply agreements, upstream M&A and project finance agreements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
