As part of a major initiative to upgrade and enhance their customer facing apps and technology, this major enterprise organisation is looking to engage a Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of technical solutions in a cloud native severless environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring the solution aligns with the business need and defined solutions architecture, and act as a Scrum Master in a cross-functional team to drive the development following Agile and DevOps development methodology and processes.

You will be required to lead discussions, arrange workshops and produce reports and findings to senior stakeholders to ensure that all parties involved are fully informed and working collaboratively towards the same goals and deliverable timelines.

This is a highly-visible and high-profile piece of work, which will see your skills recognised and rewarded with future programs and projects of work. In securing the role you will be joining an award winning cloud native serverless environment, consisting of extremely passionate and collaborative people, that are focused on providing the best customer solutions to the public.

What we're looking for:
  • Demonstrable previous experience in a similar Tech Lead role, ideally coordinating deliverables of a cross-functional development team.
  • Demonstrable experience working across application architecture, integration and working to formal application development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of AWS technologies and services, such as CloudFormation, Cloudfront, API Gateway, Lamdba, etc.
  • Experience in building and supporting large scale systems based on a microservices architecture.
  • Experience in running analysis and researching, evaluating and recommending new and emerging technologies.
  • Experience taking a lead technical role on a program and engaging with senior stakeholders across varying business units.
  • Experience working in multi-layered technology environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive outcomes through negotiation and influencing.
  • Exposure to working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Experience working in DevOps / CI/CD environment - Ansible / Puppet / Jenkins / Bitbucket, etc.
