  • Banking industry - Huge push for sustainability in recent years and many banks are committing resources to grow this space
  • Open to all candidates (buy/sell side, private equity, VC, corporate, big 4 etc) who have done work/ or have strong interest and passion in this area
 
Responsibilities would include:
  • Support senior team members across all relevant origination and execution work streams across a variety of different sustainable finance products including green bonds/loans, sustainability-linked bonds/loans, sustainable derivatives as well as sustainability-related advisory
  • Competently work on all origination, structuring and execution work streams in relation to sustainable finance products and to bring deals to a successful close
  • Prepare client pitch books and support the development of related content to support the team’s client pitches
  • Support team’s efforts to continue innovations in new sustainable finance products and structures to solve real issues and identify new growth markets
  • Support team in enhancing internal/ external profiling of the bank, putting the bank’s sustainable business initiatives on the map
  • Keep in the loop of emerging trends, sustainable finance market developments aligned with best standards to properly capture opportunities and address risks
  • Work with various stakeholders, connect with various sustainable finance bodies/ communities / experts / clients / advisors, and participate in relevant conferences / engagements in this space
Profile of ideal candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of relevant experience
  • Have worked on or have strong interest / exposure in the sustainability field (Open to all candidates from all sides, advisory, corporate etc doesn’t need to be from banking), or candidates from debt financing, lending, deal structuring who is extremely passionate in this area
  • Commercially oriented, highly motivated
  • Passion and Interest for sustainable change and impact
  • Highly numerate with business acumen, with strong financial / business technical skills
  • Good work ethic with curiosity to learn and develop.
  • Detail oriented, quick learner, adaptable mindset
  • Positive, resourceful and a strong team player.
  • Good written, verbal, presentation and communication skills with outstanding relationship building capabilities
