Role and Responsibilities:
  • Analyse technology, product and industry trends in digital asset space, in order to develop investment strategies and themes
  • Establish network within the industry to generate strong investment pipeline
  • Evaluate potential investment targets (early through late stage) for the firm’s strategic development, and develop investment proposals
  • Lead deal structuring and execution, including financial modelling / valuation, analysis, due diligence, negotiations, and closing (Corporate Finance technical skills are mandatory)
  • Monitor performance of investment portfolios
  • Create value through in-depth management, active strategic collaborations, and timely exits
  • Lead integration planning and implementation of acquisition targets
 
Requirements:
  • At least 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, buyside private equity, venture capital or crypto investment fund; preferably with M&A, FIG or TMT related experience. Prior experience/ some interest in digital asset / blockchain space is a plus
  • Strong business sense and strategic thinker
  • Mandatory: Able to do valuation/ DD/  financial models and investment analysis – any candidates with investment background from sell/buyside will work
  • Mandatory: Fluent mandarin (presentation/ speaking/ reading / writing) to deal with Chinese investors potentially
  • Open to relocate candidates / sponsoring EPs as long as above 2 mandatory requirements are met
