Our client is a leading energy trading firm that operates one of the largest energy portfolios in the world. They have a global talent pool of more than 240 people across the world, with its headquarters being situated here in Singapore.
 
 
Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to work alongside the analysts within the Risk functions to provide them with the best practice technology platform, and to build the Middle Office reporting tools.
 
Part of your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensuring that the solutions are developed appropriately for their scale and strategic importance.
  • Design and build robust, high-quality systems using best engineering practices.
  • Solving critical problems with solutions, models and analytics written in Python and Excel.
 

Requirements:
 
  • 4+ years of relevant working experience in Software Development or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong working experience with Python is required.
  • Hands on experience working with Relational or Non-Relational Databases.
  • Banking or Finance domain experience will be highly advantageous.
