As part of a major multi-million dollar program to upgrade and implement new operationally critical applications, we're looking to engage a Snr Solution Architect / Domain Architect to take up a key role and help provide architectural assurance, including planning & governance, to enable the effective design and implementation of these new applications into an Azure environment.

The role partners with an established program team, where you will work between the business and domain stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of technology solutions, which will initially focus on the set-up and integration of COTS, SaaS, PaaS solutions and bespoke applications.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide input to the strategic direction to assist in the development of the solution architecture and maximise the return on technology investment.
  • Drive architecture deliverables based on project timeframes.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into a solution blueprint that outlines enterprise services integrated across applications, systems and platforms teams to achieve objectives
 
What we're looking for:
  • Demonstrable previous experience developing solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis.
  • Analysis and knowledge of Solution Architecture development, information and technology architecture concepts, including experience in applications development, infrastructure architecture, Cloud and IT operations.
  • Experience with integration, networking and cloud-based solutions (preferably Azure).
  • Extensive experience from design to implementation of both On-Premise and Cloud data solutions (preferably Azure).
  • Exposure to working in an Agile / Scrum environment desirable.
  • Experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology
