We are looking for a Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer with preferably experience in the Financial Services to join a medium sized development team based in the Sydney CBD. The role will compliment an existing capability within the stable & motivated team of self-starters, working on a number of business aligned projects that have already begun.

The successful applicants will be hands-on with code and a best practices approach, as well as creating solid designs and implementing them within best architecture and design practices.

Quick overview of the responsibilities:

  • Undertake proof of concepts, design new features and enhance existing functionalities based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Work with solution architects, business analysts, business SMEs and other stakeholders to assess, design and deliver an efficient and effective process solution
  • Continuously improve services by challenging existing processes and promoting an automation mindset
  • Deliver high quality solutions that do not introduce risk and security issues and avoidable technical debt.
  • Uses effective problem-solving methodology to achieve required outcomes. Act’s responsibly for solving problems and making decision.
  • Actively contributes to and supports teamwork by working collaboratively and developing effective relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with stakeholders and meeting their needs and expectations in a mutually beneficial manner.
Experience Required:
  • 7+ years' experience working in a Developer/Engineer role
  • Experience working with a large enterprise (preferably within the Financial Services)
  • Strong experience working in a fast paced Agile Environment
  • Strong experience in .NET or .NET Core including good skills in MS SQL skills
  • Good understanding of SSIS and API Integration
  • Proficient skills in JavaScript and other Front End Technologies (preferably Angular 8+)
  • Good understanding of CI/CD Tools (Team city, Jenkins)
  • Experience across cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • A good understanding of DevOps tools such as Chef, Puppet etc.
  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills
