  • Candidates must have relevant experience in credit analysis / risk management
 
Responsibilities would include:
  • Independently review and complete loan documentation for draw down
  • Manage and implement the Company’s key risk policies, including (a) counterparty risks (e.g. clients, banks, refund guarantors),(b) market risks (e.g. Interest risks, LTV risks, B/E and asset cash flow risks, FX risks), (c) liquidity risks (e.g. funding, FCF)
  • Manage company’s risk management portfolio through monthly / quarterly risk updates including risk mitigating recommendation on credit exposures, charter markets and interest / FX markets without compromising business competitiveness
  • Independently review counterparty risks and recommend for approval
  • Actively track and monitor loan portfolio including information / financial / loan covenant requirement
  • Support the Group Treasurer in raising financing for the group and actively manage term sheet negotiations
  • Manage existing banking relationships and develop new banking relationships
  • Support cash management discussion of the group
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 8-10 years of banking experience ideally with exposure to credit analysis / risk management, loan structuring and documentation
  • Able to oversee loan documentation process independently, understand loan drawdown, have good knowledge in credit
  • Shipping / Transportation / Maritime sector exposure is advantageous
  • Excellent self-motivation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion, and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the capability to think strategically
  • Solid verbal and written communication ability
  • Meticulous, with keen attention to details, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Driven, proactive, diligent, and strong work ethics
  • Positive influence with proven ability to lead, motivate, and empower the team
