Our client is one of Australia's leading insurance groups and a recognised employer of choice offering unrivalled work life balance and flexibility. Due to an internal promotion they currently have a highly commercial Senior Finance Business Partnering opportunity which has opened up in their decision support team.

Reporting to the Head of Decision Support, you will focus on one of the group's largest portfolios, managing EGM level stakeholders. Key deliverables will include:
  • Drive month end reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting and other processes as appropriate
  • Partnering with EGMs to influence and provide direction for the appropriate financial targets and goals
  • Ownership and production of reporting against plan including productivity and insights.
  • Provide commercial insights and advice on activities and performance using commercial information to understand business performance
  • Conducting financial reviews meetings with senior leaders to provide analysis, identify performance drivers, risks and opportunities
  • Contribute towards strategy formulation in order to deliver sustainable long term financial performance
  • Contribute towards short and long term enterprise planning including stakeholder management during planning cycle
  • Drive continuous improvements that enable greater commercial insights
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
Required skills and experience:
  • CA/CPA qualified 
  • 5 Years + Post Qualified Experience in business partnering or decision support role
  • Experience within large complex financial services or insurance group
  • Proven track record of managing EGM level business stakeholders
  • Advanced skills using BI tools
  • Exemplary presentation and communication skills
